For a first Mother’s Day, send a soft, vase-ready wildflower arrangement: gentle colours, light or no fragrance, zero maintenance. Pair it with a card that names her as a mother, like “Happy first Mother’s Day, Mama.”
Order at least a week ahead. Mother’s Day is every florist’s busiest day, and scheduled delivery dates fill fast.
Why the first one is different
A first Mother’s Day isn’t really about flowers. It’s about recognition. She’s spent months pouring herself into a tiny person, often invisibly, and this is the first day the calendar officially sees her as a mother.
The right arrangement is simply the physical form of that recognition. No pressure, but also: some pressure. It only happens once.
